no it was canadian ottawa! just a five-hour jaunt from here lol, not so far when you've already gone 10,000 miles!

i can't remember if i ever wrote about it, but we went to ottawa for the blues fest, and visited the supreme court and watched the most insane dressed-guard march in front of parliament that was set to, no joke, the Imperial March
